M. Reza Pirbhai

Dear Gillian,

I am very sorry to read of your mother's death, but glad to see you're pursuing the publication of her memoir. I was one of the people who read it (as something of a historical consultant) when she was working on it, early in the '90's. I was a still a graduate student, then. Barbara and I had many long conversations about the work and the context it describes. Unfortunately, I lost touch with her when my studies at UofT were completed, but I think fondly of her often.

Best Wishes,
Reza
